The annual Miss Soweto pageant returns with excitement and thrill as a bevvy of beautiful finalists #reachforthestars. They are all gunning to bag the 2021 Miss Soweto title.
After receiving a record-breaking number of entries, followed by a stringent process of preparation, the number of hopefuls in the Miss Soweto 2021 pageant has now been whittled down to the top 40.
Top 40 finalists need your support and votes to make it to that crucial top 20 stage where they will receive the very best assistance, and guidance from various experts to help them prepare for the finals in November. The panel includes:
- Health practitioners
- Life coaches
- Fashion and beauty gurus
- Entertainment personalities
They will all be hosting workshops for the ladies in October ahead of the finals. They will gain new skills that will empower them, not only for the duration of the competition but for their future endeavours.

The Miss Soweto event will be co-hosted by the effervescent Thabiso Makhubela, presenter of the Expresso Show on SABC3 and Refiloe Motsei of Joz FM. Returning to judge the pageant are broadcaster, businesswoman and 2002 Miss South Africa runner-up, Bridget Masinga, and former fashion editor and blogger, Grace Mantjiu, amongst a host of other judges.
Be sure to catch the showdown at the Soweto Theatre, as we crown Miss Soweto 2021 on the 27th of November from 2 pm – 6 pm.
