AKA celebrates his last summer with Cruz

Globally recognised and multi-award-winning sensation, AKA, celebrates the success of what will go down in history as a trailblazing partnership with premium vodka brand Cruz.

What began as a ground-breaking multi-million rand partnership in 2016 expanded to see AKA go above and beyond by developing a unique Watermelon flavoured vodka in 2018 and a one-of-a-kind Banana flavoured Vodka in 2020.

The long-standing and successful relationship with Cruz cleared the path for similar collaborations between South African Hip Hop artists and renowned alcohol brands. Although AKA and Cruz’s partnership has concluded, it will forever stand out as revolutionary in the South African Hip Hop Industry. 

The chart-topping artist expresses his gratitude to the media, friends, family and supporters for journeying from the beginning until the last Cruz. In celebration of this, AKA surprised us with a new song titled Lemons (Lemonade), where he features internationally renowned artist Nasty C. Lemons (Lemonade) is accompanied by crisp visuals, which reminds us why he is the best-selling South African hip hop artist.
