Pap lovers all across South Africa are in for a treat as White Star, one of SA’s most beloved maize meal brands, has officially kicked off their latest campaign! Named “For The Love of Maize”, White star has partnered with SA’s first Michelin Star Chef and Restaurateur Jan Hendrik. He hosted a cooking masterclass to:
- Showcase some innovative maize recipes
- Give consumers versatile and creative ways to cook
- Enjoy their maize meal
He further went on and shared some of his tried and tested and fresh take on the South African staple.
Taking to his kitchen, Chef Hendrik shared and shared with us three White Star maize meal recipes, namely:
- Pap caviar, chakalaka with balsamic caviar and tete de moon
- Pap arancini and mozzarella cheese balls
- Pap French toast omelette
