Get ready, Joburg. The country’s most significant decor, design, lifestyle and interiors showcase returns to Sandton from 24 to 27 July 2025, and it’s even bigger than ever before, this time spanning five levels of the convention centre. Following a successful edition in the Mother City in June, Decorex Joburg, organised by RX, introduces brand-new exclusive features alongside Cape Town favourites, a new line-up of Future Talks at the co-located 100% Design Africa, Joburg’s own Designer of the Year 2025, and a curated exhibitor showcase that reimagines the future of living. Gathering hundreds of local and international exhibitors under one roof, Decorex Joburg promises four unmissable days of future-facing decor and design.
The show is presented in partnership with leading brands Samsung, Lexus and Santam, who are mounting some of the show’s biggest and most impactful interactive stands: level up with tomorrow’s tech, explore a new expression of luxury in a vehicle, and uncover fresh possibilities to secure your future.

Decorex Joburg Designer of the Year 2025
Based in Zurich and originally from Lagos, this year’s Decorex Joburg Designer of the Year is the multi-award-winning architect and designer Charles O Job. Job will be visiting Decorex Joburg to present a talk on the Future Talks stage, covering a decade of his ideas, innovation and impact. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear from this international design legend in person and view a curated selection of his designer chairs.
The Eiger Experience: Home chefs and dinner-party enthusiasts, this one’s for you – a sleek showcase of cutting-edge kitchen appliances and culinary tools that make hosting effortless. Built in partnership with custom kitchen experts Denic Cabinets, this feature brings together design, functionality and inspiration. Come and learn how to use the kitchen kit on your wishlist in a series of daily live demos.
The Create Café: Unleash your inner maker at the Create Café, an interactive ceramics studio offering hands-on workshops led by Kendall Simon from Create Lonehill. Whether you’re a beginner or a budding ceramicist, this is your chance to get creative, centre yourself and craft something with your own two hands.

- Lexus Design Pod by Veld Architects: Slow down and reconnectin the Lexus Design Pod 2.0, a contemplative space that bridges architecture and emotion, designed by Veld Architects. Experience masterful automotive design and get inside one of the latest Lexus vehicles as part of the display.
- @home Cooking Studio: Powered by @home cookware and serveware, this year’s live cooking sessions are curated by Food Jams.Mr D, South Africa’s most loved on-demand delivery app, will be delivering groceries that have been chosen from the Pick n Pay selection on the app for the chefs to include in their recipes. Food prep is taken care of thanks to @home and the latest kitchen tech and appliances from Samsung, making every plate a celebration of innovation and taste. Come take a seat at our table.
- Urban Living by Eco Furniture: High style meets small-space thinking in this showstopping exhibit. This feature stand comes alive with a series of co-living, business, retirement and student looks created by Ezomdabu Concepts, Carné Interior Design, Interior Bubble and Shumukh Design, respectively.
- The Bedroom Project: This new feature stand is all about bedroom schemes that have been designed to look as if they belong in a luxury hospitality destination. Expect sophisticated, dreamy boudoirs designed by Ezomdabu Concepts, Lavish Living Spaces and King Farai, all addressing the ‘lux hotel’ theme.
Future Talks: Conversations that move design forward
Bringing together visionary voices shaping the world of design, retail, craft and creativity, Decorex Joburg’s Future Talks programme is CPD-accredited and features all-new speakers and talks. This includes the likes of Stephen Klein, the CEO of Klein Concepts, a dynamic interior architecture practice; Sinegugu Ngxongo, the founder of Bambizulu, which produces high-quality eco-friendly woven products; and many more.
You’ll find the talks stage as part of 100% Design Africa, and all talks for each day are included in the price of an entry ticket for that day. The full talks schedule is available on the free-to-download Decorex app for Apple and Android.
Five levels of #inspo
Carefully curated exhibitions will span five levels, each filled with the world’s leading brands, upcoming designers and exciting product launches.
- The Renovate and Build Hall on level -2 has everything you need for your next project, from flooring and doors to wall and paint finishes.
- The Kitchens and Bathrooms Hall on level 0 has the latest kitchen designs, appliance technology, designer fittings, crafted countertops and luxury bathware to create the perfect space for your lifestyle.
- The 100% Design Africa Furniture, Lighting and Design Hall on level 2 has the perfect art pieces and the latest in local product, furniture and lighting design.
- The Capitec handmadeAFRICA Design MRKT, which is located on the landing areas on levels 4 and 5, will reveal shoppable designer finds from across the continent.
- The Decor Hall on level 5 showcases cutting-edge designs, exclusive product launches and revolutionary designer brand collaborations, sparking excitement for the future of design.
