Congratulations are in order for the award-winning artist, DJ Zinhle, on her new hairline. A multi-faceted businesswoman, she has just announced the release of her new wig brand. Titled “Hair Majesty”, the collection comprises of premium Peruvian lace wigs
Another addition to the extensive list of entrepreneurial ventures. These include, but is not limited to:
- CEO of international sparkling wine brand Boulevard Rosé
- Founder of Era by DJ Zinhle -an accessory and Eyewear
- Co-owner of Jiyane Atelier – a homeware and lounge brand in her name
Installing and wearing a beautiful wig has become such a big part of DJ Zinhle over the last few years. The idea of Hair Majesty was birthed from a feeling the DJ got every time she had a wig installation. Every time she had a wig installed, DJ Zinhle says, “It gave me the feeling that ‘I can conquer anything and everything’ and I truly saw it as my personal reminder that I am a queen and this hair is my crown, hence the name Hair Majesty.
I’m big on research when it comes to starting my businesses. So, It’s been years of me trying new hairstyles, testing different colours, lengths and constantly pushing boundaries. Through this, I was receiving massive interest and requests for me to start my own brand. So if anything, this was a way of me listening to my audience and answering their request.”
Regardless of style or colour, a fresh wig would always give her that extra boost of confidence. Confidence that would remind her that she can conquer all she pursues. A reminder that she is Hair Majesty the queen and that she wears her crown with her head held high.
