Go on and make it a #SpotifySummer – you deserve it!

Light up the braai and crank up the bass because summer days are here again! To add to the celebrations, Spotify is giving new users three months free when they subscribe to Spotify Premium between now and 28 September for a sweet #SpotifySummer.

Sit back and relax to the sounds of summer with Spotify either alone or with friends and family. To get you started, select anyone of Spotify’s playlists that take the hassle out of listening to the latest and hottest tracks. They looked at the local hits that South Africans have enjoyed over the past few months to get an indication of which tracks will make it onto listeners lists.

The latest releases from Cassper NyovestDJ Maphorisa and De Mthuda have claimed their spots amongst top international artists as part of the most streamed tracks by South Africans in the past 90 days. 

Cassper Nyovest’s hit Siyathandana took the first local spot on the list of the top streamed tracks. It is followed by Banyana by DJ Maphorisa, John Wick by De Mthuda and DJ Maphorisa again with  ‘Izolo’. These tracks claimed the subsequent spots of local tracks in the list of the top 10 of most-streamed tracks in the past 90 days.
