Scorpion Kings summer tour is officially underway

Following the sold-out opening show in Cape Town, the Scorpion Kings Summer Tour moved to Mbombela and East London last weekend. 

The music festival targeting all corners of SA, kicked off in Cape Town with thousands of music fans in attendance at the Grand Arena at GrandWest. Alongside Scorpion Kings (Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa), the Scorpion Kings Summer Tour features live performances from some of the country’s hottest artists across various music genres, including amapiano and hip-hop. 

Cape Town crowd favourites included Daliwonga, Young Stunna, Felo Le Tee and Venom. Tashinga and Soweto’s Finest also rocked the stage, with Madumane & Band closing the show.

This coming weekend will see the tour travel to Mbombela on Friday and East London on Sunday, with a few local additions to the lineup in each city, respectively.
