April 24, 2024

Introducing Cr8tor-Con: A New Hub for Creativity

A new hub for creatives: inaugural event overview

Creatives everywhere officially have a new space that champions their creativity and is a hub of inspiration – welcome to CR8TOR-CON. The first-of-its-kind event took place on the first Thursday of April. The brainchild of Spaces Africa together with culture specialists and leading marketing digital agency, Fresh AF, invited a select few from SA’s creative community.

In collaboration with USURPA, the event was held at the first Digital African Fine Art NFT gallery in Africa where it also extended as a re-introduction to SPACES AFRICA, a platform that has been committed to reimagining and redefining the creative spaces we inhabit since its establishment in 2016 and as an experience.

Empowering Creativity Through Collaboration

CR8TOR-CON aims to serve as a mouthpiece & platform for creatives. You can expect to elevate your craft and engage and redefine the dynamics of our creative industry. It also brings our community together and embraces our community in multiple collaborative ways.

Hosted by Shamiso Mosaka, guests were treated to a curated two-panel discussion and a SPACES AFRICA & Fresh AF presentation by Jay Kayembe (Executive Creative Director at Fresh AF and SPACES AFRICA). The production took audiences through behind-the-scenes before the stage was set up for panels.
