A Festive Celebration at The Body Shop South Africa

The Body Shop South Africa recently hosted their annual Christmas celebration at their Winifred Mandel Precinct (Nicolway) store. This year’s Christmas theme is Wrapped In Love, and it shines a light on everything that brings us together at this time of year, such as the joys of giving, giving back, and food. To further indulge in the former, The Body Shop is treating us to their limited-edition seasonal scents that will have you feeling and smelling as good as you look.

Limited Edition Christmas Scents Inspired by Festive Indulgence

This year’s tantalising seasonal scent trio is centred around food, with a focus on dessert. With it being the season to indulge, you can smother yourself and smell as sweet as:

• Cranberry Crush
• Sugarplum Passion

Made with love and care, each product carries its signature skin-loving touch and the familiar warmth of ingredients sourced through Community Fair Trade partnerships. You feel it the moment you scoop, spritz or lather yourself in the goodness.  

Walking through the Wrapped In Love event felt like the beauty section at Santa’s workshop.

Caramel Cuddle

Caramel Cuddle greeted me with a cozy swirl of golden caramel, creamy vanilla and toasted almond. It’s the first something sweet after Christmas lunch.

Cranberry Crush

The Cranberry Crush is infused with scents of frosted cranberries, blood orange, and a hint of mint, delivering a refreshing aroma. It was the range that had everyone enchanted as they kept circling back to for an extra swipe before breathing it in. Cranberry Crush is festive cheer in a bottle. The Body Mist layers beautifully, leaving a crisp, juicy trail that felt both playful and grown.

Sugarplum Passion

Sugarplum Passion rounded off the trio with a dreamy fruity-floral with a mix of plum sorbet, raspberry, grapefruit, apricot blossom and magnolia. If Caramel Cuddle is cozy and Cranberry Crush is energetic, Sugarplum Passion is pure magic. Light, sparkly and slightly whimsical. I reached for the body butter more times than I’d care to admit, but how could I not?  

The Advent Calendar and Fan-Favourite Textures

The Advent Calendar was the highlight of all the gifts. Stacked like treasure chests waiting to be opened, they offered twenty-five days of surprises. From mini-icons to indulgent skincare, an Advent calendar is the gift that keeps giving.  

Something to note is that the body butters melt into the skin, leaving it soft and supple. They also become more fragrant as you rub them on your skin. The body yogurt is fast-absorbing and adds a burst of moisture to the skin.
