Family fun at Silverstar this December!

November 30, 2020

A visit to the West Rand’s favourite entertainment destination, Silverstar, has never been more exciting… read on to find out why!

CowFish

From Tomahawk steaks to dim sum and a whole lot in between, this newest addition to the restaurant offering, CowFish brings a fresh, new food concept to Silverstar. You want a burger, but your BAE feels like sushi… everybody gets what they want at CowFish where they are breaking new ground by combining two specialised cuisines in a vibey, trendy atmosphere. We cannot think of a better reason to celebrate with one of their delicious cocktails because there are no foodie rules or categories here. It’s experimental, fresh and surprising.

Sushi platters at CowFish anyone?

Billy G

The West Rand’s favourite upmarket buffet is back just in time for the Festive Season! Billy G re-opened on Friday, 20 November and once again main course choices range from succulent cuts of meat at the carvery, a variety of freshly prepared casseroles, curries and vegetarian offerings to seafood, pasta dishes, wood-fired pizza and fresh salads. The starters and mains are perfectly complemented by an indulgent assortment of decadent desserts.

The bottom line: Billy G offers something to suit every palate! Billy G offers exceptional value for money, adults pay R185! Children between the ages of two and six pay just R50, while children from the ages of seven to 12 and pensioners pay R120. Children under the age of one eat for free when accompanied by a paying adult! (Rewards Members’ discounts do not apply to the special offer). Bookings are essential due to Covid-19 seating capacity restrictions.

The buffet at Billy G is a fan favourite

Barnyard

We know how much West Rand locals have missed the live shows at Silverstar Barnyard and the opening line-up will not disappoint! The curtain will rise once more with a run of Strictly No. 1’s on select nights where you can enjoy 60 years of No 1 hit songs from ‘Jailhouse Rock’ and ‘Eye of The Tiger’ to ‘Jerusalema’ and Kurt Darren’s ‘Kaptein’.

Two local favourites are also set to rock the theatre: one of South Africa’s most accomplished rock/pop band of all time, The Parlotones, will perform their inimitable brand of music on Friday, 4 December and on Friday, 11 December don’t miss Watershed’s 20th-anniversary show which promises to be an unforgettable night, up close and personal with one of SA’s most loved bands. All your favourite songs from the last two decades including ‘Indigo Girl’, ‘Close My Eyes’, ‘In the Meantime’, ‘Letters’ and more! Silverstar Barnyard’s *Sunday Special means kids under 12 and pensioners pay half price on Barnyard productions only. *Telephonic bookings only. Ts & Cs Apply.
