Here is to a berry fresh summer with Bombay Bramble

November 15, 2021

Festive 2021 is about to be berry nice, with the Bombay Bramble in hand. Having officially launched last week at the totally rad Radisson Red in Rosebank, it is the newest offering from Bombay Sapphire.

Infused with the fruits of a bramble, it gets its flavours and colours 100% from freshly harvested fruits. A spirit aperitif that will open up your palate, you can look forward to bursts of blackberries and raspberries washing over you. Bombay Bramble was inspired by the classic cocktail called The Bramble created by Dick Bradsell in the 1980s in London, England.

About Bombay Bramble

“The colour and flavour of BOMBAY BRAMBLE® comes only from botanicals and 100% natural fruit ingredients. The craftmanship required to create the new gin took time and consideration. Master Distiller Dr. Anne Brock and I worked together to blend our gin with an alcoholic infusion of berries that have been harvested at their ripest moment, resulting in a unique, bold flavour profile,” commented Ivano Tonutti, BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Master of Botanicals.

Officially being at the time where we are preparing to wind down for the year, this is not the time to invest any energy in forcing anything. It is about keeping it easy, clean, fresh and as natural as you possibly can. With Bombay Bramble, feel free to keep it authentic as a G&T. Alternatively, #StirCreativity with a Clover Club or make your own cocktail to express and impress – both yourself and your guests.

Cameron Hawkis, Portfolio Brand Ambassador for Bacardi in Sub-Saharan Africa, says, “The launch of BOMBAY BRAMBLE means we can now offer even the most discerning gin drinkers in South Africa a sophisticated fruit flavoured gin, whilst maintaining a balanced, premium taste profile that makes it ideal for cocktail creativity. We look forward to gin lovers discovering this new flavour – the bold-berried taste is bursting with natural flavours and is delicious served with tonic and a squeeze of lemon or in a selection of cocktails, with the added benefit of no artificial flavour or colour.”

Fresh fruit flavour for fun in the sun is a definite must. Get your Bombay Bramble at all major retailers and in bars and restaurants across the country. And don’t forget to always #StirCreativity while you #paintthetownbramble.

Enjoy responsibly.
