Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is set in the 28th century and tells the story of Valerian (Dane DeHaan) and Laureline (Cara Delevingne), a team of special operatives charged with maintaining order throughout the human territories. Under assignment, the pair embark on a mission to the astonishing city of Alpha, an ever-expanding metropolis where species from across the universe have converged over centuries to share knowledge, intelligence, and culture. However, at the centre of the planet lies a dark force, which threatens the peaceful existence of the City of a Thousand Planets. Experience this action, adventure, sci-fi movie in 3D, with its unrivalled visual clarity. You will feel like you have joined the two operatives in the race to identify the evil menace and save the universe.
The film’s run time is 137 minutes. Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets will be showing at Ster-Kinekor sites nationwide.
